This is the kind of book I used to think romance novels were and the pro-CIA just isn’t where I am emotionally anymore. The emotional stakes are kinda confusing, they ratchet up way too quickly even with the high adrenaline experience. The chemistry between the characters is kinda lacking and there’s actually no sex, it’s a pg rated book. It does uplift librarians though, and that’s a positive
