I was lucky to receive an e-ARC of The Cruelty of Day, and Ashley Bresee has done it again. I thought for sure that I would never feel sympathy for Dion Rhodea, but here we are, my heart in pieces for him; I have already pre-ordered a physical copy to add to my collection and cannot wait to read the next installment for the Fires of Carinae series.
