To Bless the Space Between Us: A Book of Blessings by John O'Donohue

5.0

“A blessing is not a sentiment or a question; it is a gracious invocation where the human heart pleads with the divine heart. // May we all receive blessing upon blessing. And may we realize our power to bless, heal, and renew one another.”

If you’re not reading John O’Donohue, I would be delighted to invite you into his work. I love this little book of blessings so much, and there seems to be something in here for every occasion and person. O’Donohue writes toward an eternal perspective that breaks in on the present moments of living, and he speaks to both joy and hardship with a lot of grace, hope, and empathy. You can use this for a little start or end to your day and it is just *chef’s kiss*. (Can you use a chef’s kiss on spiritual books? Just did.)
