Katy Brent Does it Again!

I absolutely loved this one with all my heart & soul

Pick it if you want to read a brilliantly written book with a blend of intriguing story lines with much needed topics that still needs

I loved her first book "How to kill men & get away with it" so when I read this book's synopsis I just knew I had to get it & though I still have books in my TBR list I was not able to stop myself from picking this one up.

And it was all worth it. It didn't disappoint me at any point. From the first page till the last line, this book kept me hooked & my heart racing.

Molly is an equally talented & strong modern woman who is another victim to our society's outdated principals & toxic social media. The way she handled the situation she was in was so real & emotional.

It started out to be a story about Molly but slowly progressed to a murder investigation where twists kept on coming. The different story lines kept on stretching in all the directions but it was tied perfectly to the common point. Though you might end up guessing few things the way it was written & strung together made this a amazing read (✿ ♡‿♡)

To every woman, reading this book unfortunately will feel relatable at one or the other point.

Every character was portrayed in perfect amount for the story needed & some of them were equally flawed & beautiful. Some of them will leave you puzzled & some you never want to meet in real life.

My mind works in a twisted way so I absolutely felt for Marilyn. I'm not going to justify anything but just step back & think for a second what pushed her to do what she did. Who has a bigger share in pushing her to do that?

This book talks about lots of important topics i.e., Social media influence, We still live in a world where women are blamed & slut shamed, Mental health trauma, Grieving of death of loved ones, Pressure of not able to meet the societal standard.

To talk about all of these & keep the reader engaged & leave a long lasting impact is a very difficult job but the author has written in a way it pulls your heart strings & makes you ache for every woman out there
