Beyond Repair
by Y.V. Larson
emotional
slow-paced
When Nina’s parents suggest it’s time for her to move out, she struggles to come to terms with living alone, especially given what she escaped from years ago. Before she was taken, she had 4 best friends, and her feelings for them were starting to change. However, they still don’t know she returned a couple years before. That changes when her parents let the guys know where she is. They come charging in and are determined to pick up where they left off, but Nina is not the same person. The story really focused on Nina and her guys getting reacquainted, especially with discussing everything they missed and how to move forward together (with Nina is still healing). This is the first book of a duet, and it does end on a cliffhanger you can see coming.
