I can't believe this, this book is so good I cannot even. I admit that I missed my favorite characters while reading the fourth book, that means I missed Jon and Dany quite a lot and seeing them back and being amazing was everything I wanted. Not only them but Tyrion was back, thank the gods. My preference for some characters aside, this book is incredible. It felt throughout the whole time that something big was coming, that the characters were making choices and preparing themselves to face whatever there was to come and it was really good. Dissapointed that there is some big things coming but it will only be in the next book, alas, that's not the point. The point is that the book was preparing us and laying ground and yet is did not felt boring or too much talking. It was just as great as it could be, and better yet because it makes me desperate to read the next one.
