A Devious Arrangement by J. Wilder

fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Diverse cast of characters? No

3.0

Breezy read, pacing was good. Not sure about the importance or point of the Order, or why everyone seems to know who they are. Bash falling in love with Stasia seemed sudden-seeing as the book took place over the course of a month (the time frame she was given to get the tiara). Yeah, he caught her where she shouldn't have been and she sasses him all the time, buuut that's it? 🧐

A Devious Arrangement did make me curious about the previous books in the series (which are all  interconnected standalones that take place in the same universe), so I've added those to my TBR.
