honestly i had second hand embarrassment for zahra when she started crying at the board meeting bc of the presentation like ik it’s nice what he’s doing but come on be professional. also after the meeting when she confronted the father? imagine waking out of your sons meeting ready to go home just to have a woman you’ve never spoken to or met tell you all your flaws (which he has and she was right to point them out) to then tell you to fuck off, blow a kiss to an old woman and flip you the finger i-
and rowan really isn’t that big of a deal. he could have easily avoided getting ‘heartbroken’ and breaking zahras heart if this dude just went to therapy. he has so much emotional trauma and childhood trauma he can’t just “fix” himself bc he saw zahras presentation and is moved. i’m pretty sure if this were real life they would have broken up after a couple of months again just bc he does not know how to function and it would just hurt her to stay
loved every scene ani, cal and claire were in they carried this book fr 😩👏
