Revenge, Ice Cream, and Other Things Best Served Cold by Katie Finn

4.0

Let me just start off by saying that I have never in the history of, well, ever, read a YA contemporary series. All the series I have read have been fantasy or dytopian. Never just contemporary romance. Now that that’s out of the way, my thoughts on the book.

This has to be one of my favorite series I have picked up this year. The story is so god, and Gemma is such a likable character, although seeing what Hallie had been planning and plans throughout the book got annoying, because she’s sixteen! Get over it! There were quite a few moments in the book where I had to laugh out loud, which is pretty rare for me with books. Finally getting to meet Ford was wonderful and *spoilers* seeing Gemma and Hallie’s revenge going back and forth was pretty entertaining. This book was impossible to put down, I managed to read it all in one day and absolutely loved it. The only complaint is that book 3 comes out next year. I don’t have enough patience for that. I just really love this series and always enjoy reading it. Also, the cover is beautiful for each book. The book ends in a cliffhanger, much like book 1, but this one is far more shocking, in my opinion. I am very eagerly awaiting 2016 for the next book to see how everything will play out.
