My first Emily Henry book and my first five-star rating of 2022! This book was EVERYTHING!!! January and Gus are both such wonderful characters, I never wanted their story to end!
Gus and January are such easy characters to love in their own rights - they were effortless to root for as a couple throughout the whole book. I was either crying and wanting to protect them from the world or cheering them on with every step they took. I love that while they were two people who had been broken by certain people/situations in their lives, they didn't rely on each other to heal themselves; they just held each others hand as they took the journey together <3
And the notes out the window!? My absolute favourite moments of the entire story.
This book was absolute perfection - January and Gus had my heart from the very first page <3
