I didn’t like this as much as I hoped it would. It got a lot of hype and I just decided to check it out, but it wasn’t for me.

The plot was pretty okay. It had potential but the characters kinda ruined it in my opinion. I really didn’t like Liz. I hated the fact that she was like so obsessed with romance and just needed to have a boyfriend. It felt so forced and so weird and honestly so unrealistic that she thought Michael would still be the same. I didn’t understand why she lied so much. She literally had no reason to and it didn’t make any sense.

She also really needed to make up her mind. She thought one thing and then as soon as she got confronted with it, she changed. Only then she realized she was wrong and that just pissed me off.

The only real reason i kept reading was because of Wes. He was pretty alright but honestly I kind of felt he appeared too little. I felt like I barely read about him in the book, and even if he did appear, I feel like the focus was never on him. And he wasn’t that great, but I kept reading because everyone loved him so much. In the end I didn’t change my opinion on him.

I thought the reason for the fake dating was so stupid. A parking spot. Really? Like can you just grow up for one moment and come up with a different arrangement? And also, they don’t hate each other at all. They just teased and annoyed each other but that was it. I hate books like this being promoted as “enemies to lovers” when they literally AREN’T.

I don’t think I’m going to read the second book. I already see a lot of problems with this couple now, so I don’t think that I’m going to continue this. Maybe I’ll read another book by this author in the future, but I don’t know for sure.
