I finished the whole series in less than a week but kind of wish I never began. I never fell in love with any of the characters (except maybe Huck) because they weren’t fleshed out well. I did appreciate Hildebrand giving the island a voice in this final book, and the cameo from Margaret of the Winter Street series was a welcomed surprise! Overall though, this is a forgettable series that is too predictable with flat characters.
