This is my first German book in more than 10 years of not doing anything after 15ish years of learning German as first foreign language.
I was actually surprised than I can understand the plot. Not as great as on English but oh well. At that point in live I just accept that there is language I learned effortless, and than there is German (:
I have 2 problems with Wunschpunsch being a children's book:
1. What with Jacob's harem?
2. How much do you really need the reminder that Maurizio is a small yet fat cat?
But I would advise go with audiobook narrated by Christoph Maria Herbst. The acting brings me so much joy. Just fantastic!
