Angels Before Man by rafael nicolás
3.0
slow-paced

The general idea and concepts are interesting and technically in my wheelhouse. But by the middle of the book, I’ve begun skimming because it’s just too…slow. And repetitive. If I see something meaningful to the plot, like say, the first kiss, I’ll pause for the scene. Otherwise I know from what I skimmed I’m not missing anything important. Which is a shame. It definitely needs to be parred down.

And while there has been build up with Lucifer and being ashamed of his body to becoming no longer ashamed, encouraged by his love Michael, it still felt…sudden that Lucifer would wanna stare at himself in admiration of his beauty. Things like that.
