Find the Jinn by Maz Maddox

Dallas can get a bit much as a narrator.
Silas, I started disliking him.
After Dallas bending backwards, feeding him, stooping to prostitution for him, saving his life, killing Omar twice, and getting him off a cult island, and he's gonna give Dalla a free breakfast and a wiskey? As Bonus? Dallas needs a backbone around him, omg, and just ask him to pay his rent for a few months, or smth. Poor Barnaby gets the worst end of the bargan.

Zane has done no wrong, as far as I can see.
I know this is a part in a series, but were given very very little info about everything. Backstories, histories, necromancers and why they're banned, cults, religions, gods, etc. We'll probably get it whenever the author wants to reveal a plot twist, or smth.

This book also heavily refers to the the first part, the short story that I couldn't find anywhere, and that kinda annoyed me.

It was a fun, light read. I like the world.
