I have no words to describe how much I liked and enjoyed the book!

This book really blew my mind. I never thought I would get so attached to Jeremy, but I did.

Their story takes place along the path of the previous book, God of Pain, because many scenes were connected. Remember the scene where Creighton kidnapped Annika? Well, this is one of the scenes we see again in this book, only from the perspective of Jeremy and Cecily.

Cecily is nerdy and known as a prude among her friends. But in this book we see that it is not exactly like that. We see how she grows and accepts herself and what she wants. I really liked seeing the close relationship she had with Ava, it's so sweet.

Jeremy is extremely hot, and the scenes between him and Cecily were even hotter.  Over the course of the book, he becomes more and more obsessed with Cecily and slowly shows her a softer side. Some of the scenes that I liked are the ones where Jeremy listens, as Cecily tells him about the trauma she has and how he calms her down.

Now let's talk about other characters.

Compared to the other books, some characters appear very rarely or are only mentioned, so I will write about the only character who, let's say, disappointed me a little, but at the same time I want to know his story.

We know that Landon is very violent and all his actions revolve around causing violence, but to use a girl who has feelings for you to reach one of your brutal points, and afterwards you thank her for helping you. I would never have imagined Landon to do such a thing, but apparently he did.

This book is full of action and emotions that will leave you breathless.
