Connections in Death by J.D. Robb

I enjoyed the characters, as always. The way Eve takes her job so personally makes her so special and great - and it really shines through when the victim is someone who had been part of the Banger Gang and, after getting arrested and serving time, had managed to turn his life around.

There was a lack of tension and mystery that I usually really enjoy in these books, though. I just was never really anxious and there was little struggle to figure things out. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy watching her snag the bad guys - that was great.

Overall I enjoyed this one, just not as much as I'm accustomed to with these books. Still can't wait for the next one!
