Grown Ups by Marian Keyes

4.0

My first Marian Keyes - and a rare foray into this genre of book - but my, can this woman write. I loved this. One of the cover blurbs claimed she was almost Austen-sian (assuming that’s a word) in her insights, and I do have to say… if Jane Austen were writing today, I wonder if her work would read a bit like this. My one petty star removal is for the use of “ha” in narration, but this won’t stop me from reading all Keyes’ back catalog. Delightful.
