Okay, so I think I would give it 4.5 stars, but I love Zafon as a writer and this was a great book. By the end, I didn't know what to think and there are many things left unexplained, ah the unrealiable first person narrator!
After finishing this book, I was thinking I might have missed out on something, but when I read a discussion post from the time my book club read this (on Goodreads) they all had the same questions I had.
I don't want to post any of my thoughts since they would be considered spoilers, but DANG!
I had a lot of fun reading this, and enjoyed the search for what was reallying going on, but I also just want to know is David just crazy?! Also, the ending was strange. Ugh! I just want Zafon to tell me what's really going on!
