The Best Friend Zone by Nicole Snow

5.0

Nicole Snow has done it again! The Best Friend Zone had me laughing in some parts, mad in some parts, and happy in a bunch of other parts! I love how Nicole Snow adds crazy animals to her stories. This one has a big dog named Owl and 20 goats. I especially loved Hellboy.

This story is told from Quin Faulkner and Tory Redson-Riddle-Coffey's story. They would meet up in Dallas when they were kids each summer. Now years later Quinn is working on his deceased grandfather's property, and Tory is taking a break from ballet while she heals from an injury, and is staying with her grandmother. I loved her grandmother so much. The conversations she has with other characters had me laughing out loud!

Quinn is glad Tory is back, but he is going through his own battle from his past, that is finally catching up. He tries to push Tory away, but she doesn't think she's in danger and will be fine. She doesn't want to go back to Chicago because her ex fiancée is there and he was also her boss. I loved the character development in this book as well as the commentary between all the characters.

It was another fantastic book, and I can't wait to read more by this author!
