This really should be called "The Life Changing Magic of Getting Rid of All Your Stuff." It seems like the goal is to pare down to such few essential items that "tidying" isn't necessary -- you just put stuff away because it's so easy. This is a fine idea and worth pondering, but could be explained in 2 or 3 pages. I felt like there was a lot of unnecessary clutter in the writing, for example stories about her trying to organize her siblings belongings as a child just made me wonder about the odd little girl she must have been and admiring of her ability to turn her OCD into a lucrative career. There is a lot of rambling about her experiences and her clients experiences and things not to do. Here's the book in a nutshell: go through everything you own; keep what you love and get rid of the rest. It's liberating.
