Friendship and Romance

I received a free copy of this book through FirstReads in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Best friends since school, Mitzi, Paula, and Jody decide to follow through on a dream they have by opening a dress shop that caters specifically to plus sized women in their small Texas hometown. When Mitzi's high school crush, Graham, comes to the shop looking for bridesmaid dresses for his daughters, Mitzi's feelings for him are as strong as ever, and she immediately falls in love with his girls, too. While Mitzi wonders if she might have a future with Graham, Paula and Jody are both dealing with drama in their own lives.

The story and characters were so clinched and unrealistic. What teenage girls, when offered a job, say they'll take the job but don't want to be paid. I had trouble getting into this story because I found the protagonists aobnoxious rather than endearing. There are obviously a lot of people who loved this book, so if you enjoy romances and friendship stories with one-dimensional characters, you might want to check it out yourself.
