I enjoyed reading this book. I did. There are a couple of things that I did not like, however, I still had a good time. I have read a couple of other books by this author and, I think I liked this one the most. Not just the story but the way it was written as well.
In one of the reviews I read before starting this book, somebody mentioned how Lavish had a lot of issues but therapy was never mentioned. Now that I finished the book, I can say that I agree. I know that at the end she got all the things that she dreamed of. But still, I feel like the things that she went through and the way she acted when she was triggered...she needed professional help.
Mitchell was different than I expected. He was not the playboy I imagined. I was surprised that he cared for Lavish and he showed that to her from the beginning. She was being difficult but I completely understand why. She had reasons to be that way. Although I wished she went to therapy, I am glad things worked out for her. For them. His family was amazing.
The epilogue was a bit disappointing though. I wanted to read Mitchell's pov as well.
But overall, this was not a waste of time. This was good.
