Troll Queen by Tara Grayce

4.0

My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

This was such a good fourth installment in the "Elven Alliance," series. It's my favorite one so far!

One thing I was looking forward to when I picked up this book was that we would get Melantha and Rharreths' POVS. Their storyline was so interesting. Through them, we the readers get to learn more about Troll and their cultural (which reminds me a bit of both Viking and Spartan culture). We also get to see their romance unfold. At first I was sure how I felt about it, but I quickly grew to like it.

We also have Essie and Farrendel's POVs in "Troll Queen". After the events in the previous book, I expected their storyline to stay a little sad. I was right, but, thankfully, things were looking up for both Essie and Farrendel by the end of the book.

Overall this was a well written, exciting read.

I'm excited to see how the "Elven Alliance," world continues to grow in the next few books!
