Rarely do I DNF a book, but I realized I had not a drop of joy left reading this one. The writing is exquisite and quite beautiful, but the plot drags on for so long. I know the myth, so the story was predictable. I was expecting something that would keep me engaged; instead, I got whining from different characters that took up PAGES and never stopped. Overall, the book dragged on, and I just wanted to put myself out of this misery.
