This book started strong and dark and I loved it, I didn't want to put it down. I didn't read the trigger warnings, but I was expecting Josh to be a bit more like his dad if you get my drift lol. I chuckled at his thoughts and I found the first half cute! lol. Given what was happening, it should have felt darker lol. 
About 80% with Aly's 'family' the plot went sideways for me. I would have preferred they
buried the body themselves
. It was all too convenient.
