'They’re locked up for your safety.
Now, you’re locked in with them.'

What a brilliant psychological thriller. This is my favourite of the year so far, without a doubt and will definitely be in my 2023 top ten! A definite 5 star read!

Following the horrific murder of a pregnant woman and abduction of her baby, forensic profiler Dr Connie goes undercover in a high security prison hospital. Dr Connie has to profile and interview the disturbed and dangerous criminals inside the institution to try and uncover the truth and find the baby before it's too late.

This book had me hooked from the first page! I loved the premise of the story and it totally delivered! The plot was captivating and terrifying and had some great twists along the way. I tore through the last part and couldn't put it down!

This is a must read for any fans of dark psychological thrillers. I am excited to have discovered such a fantastic new author and I'm looking forward to reading all of her previous books. Highly recommended!
