The Antique Hunter's Guide to Murder
by C.L. Miller
A fun “who dun it” set in London. A web of deceit and murder afoot for this older early 50s heroine who used to steal antiques for a living. She gets sucked back into the life when her mentor and aunts boyfriend of sorts is murder or so she and her aunt believe he is.
This could have been really good. But I felt like some plot points got muddled and were not explained all the way through. Like maybe it was supposed to be a shorter novella that got expanded quickly and we left some back plot behind.
I also feel like our two main characters are a little shallow, no not vain, but lacked character depth. Everyone kind of did in my opinion.
Hmmmm this was okay. Fun cozy mystery but not amazing. 3.5/5
