Light and fairly enjoyable to listen to while crocheting. There are definitely some "jokes" that are not very funny and  just a bit...yikes. The author still cranks out a bunch of these so I am wondering if the newer books in the series are better. I would be tempted to listen to a newer one, but also maybe not? Idk
