I find it interesting that I could listen to a book that has everything I dislike in the world, manifest destiny, racism, white supremacy, oil dynasties, excessive violence, corruption of those in power and greed. I do not know about Comanche history but I would be interested to know how much of their oral history is true to the book. My guess, not so accurate. How settlers perceived Indians is different from how Indians were, that's the way I've always known it, so would the Comanche be any different.
One thing, the word "fuck", in my traditional language there is no word for that. Intercourse, yes but not used in the context that was written.
I could go on but will not bother, I will let this go as another of those stories told by those that really "don't know".
