What a heartfelt love story between two high school sweethearts just trying to find their way in life.
Warren has always been in love with Maisie. He knew she was his one true love from the beginning. So when she goes off to college in NY, he knew she needed to go and find her way. But what little did he know, she wouldn’t want to come back to their small country town. But he does everything she has ever asked in hopes she comes back to him.
Maisie has always wanted to please her parents but also wanted to break free of them to prove she can make it on her own. Though she didn’t know she would be leaving her husband in order to prove herself. Then flash forward 7 years and she has moved on and even found new love…or so she thinks.
I know what you might be thinking, she is already married and finds another man?! There is no open cheating as they are “separated” and she actively seeks a divorce over the 7 years.
But you can’t beat true love.
I adored Warren and how he held out hope for Maisie to return to him.
