I adored the first 1/2 of the book, but I lost interest in the story and the characters after that. I wanted to enjoy the 2nd round of rising action, but I just didn't care. I am not anticipating a follow up even though there will likely be one. I will read it, eventually. Questions can be answered and still leave enough hook in the reader for a sequel.
