Fifteen-year-old me would have been OBSESSED with this book. Present-day me at 29 is still kind of obsessed.
There’s so much to love that I found it outweighed all of the small faults that I had with the book.
A genuinely entertaining read that explores the grief of losing a parent at a young age and the weight of legacy. I enjoyed the magic system and the ties to Arthurian legend. There’s so much more to this book that I can’t put into words. Eager and excited to read the sequel.
