As the second book of the series, of course I have to make some comparisons. Something that really stood out to me was how much focus we spent on the MCs. I know it's their story, but something I loved so much about book one was the diverse cast of characters! I fell so in love with the side characters, I could wait to keep reading about them. This one didn't quite have the same effect on me.

Regardless, I really liked many aspects of this book. For example, the way miscommunication was handled was really good, and I genuinely appreciated that we got to see them go through ups and downs without getting mad at their communication styles. It was nice to see some other conflicts for a change.

Additionally, the way these two handled and navigated their relationship in a difficult situation was admirable. I only felt slightly like this was super unrealistic for it to be both of their first proper relationships, and to be so mature about it.

I did feel like the character growth was shoved so late into the book, that most of it took place during the Epilogue. I mean, it worked, but I think it's just disappointing cus this growth and learning throughout is what captivated me so much in book one.

If you're a spice girlie, you'll like this one. The "almost caught" and sneaking around was pretty hot, and of course the spicy parts are good. Overall a good read, and I can't wait to read Henry's book!
