文豪ストレイドッグス 探偵社設立秘話 Bungō Stray Dogs Tanteisha Setsuritsu Hiwa by Kafka Asagiri, 春河 35, Sango Harukawa, 朝霧 カフカ
5.0

I swear the novel format suits Kafka SO WELL.
I was never a massive fan of Ranpo, I appreciated him for who he was and Fukuzawa was far too vague in the manga.
I LOVED them in this. My heart was so full at the end and I nearly cried from how precious Ranpo was.
I didn't read the entirety of the first part, I'll buy the novel and add onto the review.
But the agency owns my heart, I love them all so much everyone else can choke if it means keeping ADA safe.
And their dynamics are perfection. How well they all work together and joke around and everyone is accepted. None of them are morally white, they are all damaged in some way that wasn't their fault. And I love that so much, they've been allowed to heal and help others and have been given family and friends too, as they all deserve.
Also, I nearly passed out when Kunikida almost had a stroke upon hearing Dazai's name and suggesting Atsushi kill him to enter the agency. Mans will be pushed past his limit eventually. I also loved how Dazai actually apologises when he sees how far he pushed. That whole thing between them was too funny in this novel. I was in stitches.
