**SPOILERS BELOW**
I absolutely loved the first two books. I liked the exploration of human nature, innate goodness be innate evil, and the question “is a utopia even possible?” I feel like the series could have ended so many satisfying ways but I feel like the ending ultimately felt like an elementary schooler writing their first fiction work and ending it with “and then she woke up and it was all a dream!” The ending just seemed sloppily thrown together where the rest of the series was so purposeful and well thought out. I wish there had at LEAST been some follow up beyond two days of her new life before the story ended forever.
