another murakami book. as always with murakami, he has very interesting things to say about men and nothing of much value to say about women. i think i keep coming back to him because of the timbre and cadence of his writing - it’s the same way my brain sounds in a spell of rumination.
i liked kino.
i did not much like the last ‘men w/o women’ story, except for the couple paragraphs where he talks about the first and second loneliest men in the world.
