in awe. a wonderful read, i was constantly in awe of the author’s ability to keep a story so involved while so true to history. i went into it completely blank without any preconceived notion of how i’d like it or what the book was about, and i truly recommend doing that if you’ve somehow found yourself in the same shoes and have lived this far without hearing details about this book.

i honestly don’t have words, i would give it 6 stars if i could. just- wow.
