Whispers by Dean Koontz

3.75

This book was well built. Solid, square blocks of plot stacked upon each other to make a satisfying and workable, if utilitarian, novel. It wears its Influences - specifically Psycho and the pop psych of the seventies - on its sleeve but that's okay. It's overlong, which surprised me because other Koontz books I've read have been fast-paced pageturners, but it was very readable.
