“Lore Olympus: Season Two” by Rachel Smythe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

PERSEPHONE, THE BRINGER OF DEATH, HAS ENTERED THE CHAT.

Season two of “Lore Olympus” really starts to kick into high gear surrounding the mystery of how Persephone went from being called “kore” to “Persephone” and the fallout from what happened in the process.

Season two is where we begin to deviate heavily from the myths. We have our origins and what not, so the ground work is there, but Smythe can now play with them in this retelling and shape they around the unfolding plot.

This season we get to see Persephone come into her own and embrace who she really is as a person. Her relationship with Hades sweetens, making the climax/finale of this season by far the best so far.

My only cretic is that I wish the second half of the season was longer. We are introduced to a time jump and there’s SO MUCH that happens off panel that I need more information and clarity on. Hopefully we will get those in flash backs, but who knows.

Either way, season 2 was a roller coaster of a ride. And I, for one, cannot wait to crack on with season three.
