I must admit I was purely beguiled by the aesthetics of the book cover into purchasing it, and from reading it I have come to the conclusion that its  content doesn’t ever exceed the dazzling illustration. The book is bereft of a plot, and I would have liked to have witnessed more character development subsequent to the main protagonist’s return to ‘normal’ life. The ending feels a bit rushed, and despite the book being relatively short some parts in the middle definitely drag on excessively.
