Why I originally rated this a 3, I am not sure. It is a five for sure. What I love most about rereading this is that I am older now and can better understand some of the themes and messages, making them more impactful and strong. This book stands thest of time in that it is still just as good now as it was when it first came out, as well as still standing out in a crowd of YA dystopian stories. I am glad I made the choice to reread the series after reading the prequel earlier this year and falling back into this unique world and needing to experience it all from Katniss' point of view.
