what another showstopping book by Tracy Deonn. this book was a huge step up from bloodmarked and was written in a much more mature way that gets you, the reader thinking and questioning life. I was not expecting half of the things that happened in oathbound to happen, and I cannot understand how this was meant to be the last book in the series. thank God that Tracy Deonn decided to add another book after oathbound because I shall as hell need it. the characters and their growth are just phenomenal and i must say that the story line took a turn for the better. i love where the story is going and i cannot wait for the next book. the ending of oathbound destroyed me and devoured me whole so i am terrified for what the next book might do to me. oathbound kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole read and i could not stop trembling for the characters. the number of times that i thought that my favourite characters were going to die was crazy. i was literally holding onto them for dear life afraid to turn every single page. i will say that the first 300 pages were a bit slow for my liking, now don't get me wrong i loved reading those 300 pages, i just wanted more and well i do see that those 300 pages were so needed and essential for the plot i wish the book had of been that slight bit quicker. which is why oathbound has received 4 stars from me even though in my heart it is 5 stars. now enough with the bad review this book does not deserve any hate. from the 300 pages onwards it's like i was on fire, slowly being burnt to a crisp and i sank deeper and deeper into the black hole threatening to devour me. i could not put the book down. oathbound literally held my life in its hands and refused to give me a chance to breath. the ending of oathbound is like nothing i could have ever predicted or saw coming. i am shocked to say the least and i need to know what is going to happen to my precious characters. i NEED the next book now or i think my lungs might just give way and my heart might wither and die. i love this series and has to be one of my favorites so please Tracy Deonn don't shatter my heart more than it already has been.
