Leap of Faith: Finding Love the Modern Way by Cameron Hamilton, Lauren Speed

3.0

Great companion book to Love Is Blind. I ate it up! I would have given the book four stars had there been more behind-the-scenes tidbits; it seemed a little surface-level. Also, Lauren's writing didn't really convey her personality, so it often felt dry. Her voice didn't really come through, unfortunately. I really liked Cameron's writing, though. He had lots of details, interesting insights, etc. His voice was clear, too. He was repetitive, though; he mentioned many ideas more than once, which seemed unnecessary. I quite liked the flow between Cameron and Lauren's writing, however. The transitions were well done and quite natural, even though the ending was a little abrupt. I also liked the advice given at the end of each chapter. They are definitely an emotionally mature couple, which is refreshing to see. Very admirable. Overall, I enjoyed the book and am happy to have read it.
