The Beautiful Dead by Belinda Bauer

4.0

I had to put this to one side at first. I was ill and it was too upsetting. Part of this was because there is a realistic description of living with and supporting someone you love with dementia, which was a bit close to home. I didn't like the 'serial killer voice'. I found it a bit phoney. And the feeling of being a vulnerable woman felt relentless to begin with. But otherwise, great characters and a good plot.
