Where Am I Now?: True Stories of Girlhood and Accidental Fame by Mara Wilson

5.0

Audiobook memoirs read by the subject are almost always interesting, engaging and enjoyable. This one was no exception. Although I remember Mara Wilson as a young actor (she was very intelligent and not annoyingly precocious), she's is far more interesting to me now that she has so much more to say and can say it well. I must admit that one of the reasons I chose this book (other than the teasing audio sample) was that it not only covered her early years but she tells the story of her experiences with anxiety, depression, and OCD (I have anxiety, too).
