I think this book definitely had a lot of potential, it just didn’t deliver as I would hope. My friend read this and I was so excited to start it but I just got bored. I don’t think Elena and Dante relationship developed as it should have, there was definitely the lust but I just couldn’t see the love. I felt like Elena would have put more of a fight up when it came to there relationship since she was so head strong in the beginning. Also the mafia aspect felt so half assed, I had hopes since the author Said they researched the mafia.
Family drama would have made this book so good also, like you’re telling me we got to hear all about Daniel and her sister fucking but didn’t get to read bestie Elena going off on them, I wanted that so bad but we didn’t get it.
I feel like we barely know her past, like there was this shit with Christopher who the fuck is Christopher, idk you tell me. Then there was hints of other shit and how didn’t she know her sister was sold into sex trade?? Like you thought she was modeling but you didn’t have contact with her during that time? Didn’t see any pictures?? The details in this book was so bad
