Lights and Sirens by Lisa Henry

3.0

I liked this, but not as much as the first one. I had seen reviews describing it as enemies to lovers before I started it, but… not really? A bad first impression leaves them both hating one another, but the misunderstanding is cleared up very early in the book, and they immediately go from that hatred to hooking up and then to being boyfriends. The relationship development felt a bit fast, and most of the book ends up being more about them dealing with their jobs and making time for one another and dealing with trauma and stuff. It wasn't BAD but it didn't feel like what I had signed up for or was expecting. It didn't really feel like a romance, which was what I was looking for, so I was left slightly disappointed.
