Ugh, I wanted/needed so much more from this book (like 2 separate books!) Harkness crammed so much into it, that I felt like it was fulfilling a duty from the publisher. My biggest complaint was that she spent so much time in the American Revolution Era (which it seemed a lot of research went into) that once Marcus got to New Orleans it was a blip. I wanted more about Phoebe and Miriam, Phoebe and Marcus before her change, Marcus and Phillipe, Phoebe and Marcus after her change. Then an entirely different book on Diana and Matthew and the twins. Don't get me started on the brief sprinkles of characters from the trilogy. The ending, oh c'mon, wrapped up in a nice little bow. Granted some of the All Souls Trilogy left me wanting, but Time's Convert felt like a waste.
