The Friends We Keep by Jane Green
4.0
This story follows three characters and their friendship throughout the years. It’s amazing to see how friendships change throughout the years. The friendship consisted on two women and one man. It was so refreshing to read a book about friendships, and all the things they had to go through.
Evvie, Maggie, and Topher were the best of friends and roommates at University, and started to drift apart as the years go on. They made a pact when they turned 50 if they were still alone they would all live together again. Each has had a curve ball thrown at them during their life. Can the friends become as close as they once were?
The story follows the perspective of each of the characters throughout the years. Which is something I loved. The story really shows you true friendships and what happens when you keep secrets from one another. I would recommend this book to others to read!
